Use of our site, in any manner, shall constitute your agreement and acceptance, without modification, to the notices, terms, and conditions set forth herein. In addition, as a condition of use of our site, you agree to use our site only for lawful purposes. The following activities are strictly prohibited: (i) misrepresenting your identity or the identity of any person(s) accessing this site in any manner; (ii) tampering in any manner with the site; and (iii) conducting any activities that may raise a reasonable inference of fraud. If you do not unconditionally agree to, and accept, the notices, terms, and conditions set forth herein, then you may not use the site.

ACCURACY OF ALL INFORMATION
Danson Jewelers makes every effort possible to ensure that all information that you receive is as accurate as possible. If any discrepancies are to arise as to the accuracy of information, then we will address it with full transparency. Customer satisfaction is our key objective.
 
RETURN POLICY

EXCHANGE AND RETURN PRIVILEGE
Danson Jewelers exists to satisfy its customers. We are happy to assist you with your past or future purchases.

Your purchase, in new condition with original gift box with all warranty cards and instruction books intact, and when accompanied by its original receipt, may be exchanged or returned for store credit within seven days of original purchase date.
No returns are accepted after 7 days of receipt.

Returns are not accepted without prior authorization.

Sale or clearance merchandise, completed layaways, and special orders are not returnable or exchangeable.

Credits will be issued in accordance with the original method of payment. For any purchase made by check there will be a 10-business day wait period. Cash refunds are mailed by check 5 business days. Any item received as a gift and not accompanied by a sales receipt will be issued merchandise credit only as outlined above. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash.

LAYAWAY POLICY
Articles may be placed on layaway for a maximum of 120 days with a minimum deposit of 20%, and four equal monthly payments. If a payment is over 30 days in arrears, the item may be returned to stock. If no satisfactory arrangements have been made for full payment by the end of the 120-day period, the item will be returned to stock. Layaway deposits and payments are non-refundable after 5 days of the original layaway, but may be applied to the purchase or other merchandise. Completed layaways are not returnable or exchangeable. Layaways cancelled after 30 days of the original layaway are subject to a restocking fee of 20% of the purchase price.

SPECIAL ORDERS
We regret that special orders are not returnable, and that no refund or exchange can be made. A special order constitutes any watch or jewelry item ordered, custom-made, or altered at the customer’s request. Deposits and payments made on special orders are non-refundable and are not eligible for store credit.

RETURNED CHECK PROCESSING POLICY
Returned checks are subject to a $35.00 fee.

REPAIRS
We will make every effort to contact you as soon as your jewelry or watch repair is completed. We are not responsible for articles left over 60-days after repair is completed. Payment in full is expected upon pickup.

COST OF REPAIR
Our competitive pricing and commitment to offering high-quality watch repairs is what separates us from our competitors. The cost of repair work is evaluated based on an estimate, which is a professional determination of what the best course of action for the repair of your watch will cost. The estimate is ascertained based on the condition(s) observed and evaluated by a skilled watchmaker technician. Danson Jewelers will not proceed with any repair work until you provide us with your full consent to proceed with repair work in accordance with the estimate. We are unable to provide an estimate until your watch has been received at our facility and properly evaluated by one of our skilled technicians.
 
ESTIMATE
Our skilled technicians will take a detailed evaluation of your watch upon its arrival to our facility. Technicians will consider the symptoms reported by you, as well as all conditions personally observed that were not reported in order to provide a monetary estimate and timeline to complete the necessary repair work.
There could be two sections to an estimate – Required Services and Optional Services. Required services are the minimum services required to repair your watch. Optional services may also be recommended based on the condition or age of the watch. Customers will have several options, as detailed below, with how to proceed once the services have been ascertained:

-The Customer can APPROVE the Required Services and DECLINE all Optional Services.

-The Customer can APPROVE both the Required Services and all Optional Services.

-The Customer can APPROVE the Required Services and select individual Optional Services.

-The Customer can DECLINE both Required and Optional Services.

Upon accepting the estimate, you will be required to provide payment before any repair work can begin. If you decide to decline all services, we will return your unrepaired watch to the return address you entered on the initial input form. We will honor the initial estimate for 90 days pending a follow-up evaluation to verify no further damage has been incurred to your watch (as judged by Danson Jewelers’ watchmakers).
 
NON-AUTHENTIC TIMEPIECES
Danson Jewelers will not perform any service on a timepiece that we believe is a replica. Non-authentic watches may be confiscated and you may be held responsible for the cost of return postage.
 
GUARANTEE OF REPAIR
Danson Jewelers does not guarantee that we can repair your watch. The brand, type, and style are all characteristics that we consider in when doing any repair work. Our technicians must first evaluate your timepiece to determine if the repair can be completed successfully, and then a cost must be attached to the repair work. We cannot guarantee that parts that are removed during the repair will be returned to you. Certain brands require old parts to be exchanged in order to purchase new parts. We will accommodate requests to return parts whenever possible, but the option may not always be available.
 
LENGTH OF REPAIR TIME
Danson Jewelers makes no guarantees or promises regarding the length of repair time. Due to the nature of our service, and the variable timelines of various part suppliers, we can only provide general timelines. These timelines are not intended to be a guarantee or deadline. We will do the best that we can to inform the customer of any changes to the originally reported timeline. Furthermore, once a repair has begun, we are unable to process any requests for a cancellation or issue a refund, regardless of any unforeseen circumstances that may arise to the estimated repair completion date.
 
PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICY
Upon accepting your repair estimate, payment must be made with a credit card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express) or PayPal via our Merchant Gateway. Upon submitting payment, you agree to be legally bound to have Danson Jewelers proceed with your repair work in accordance with the terms and conditions agreed to in the estimate and this site. If we deem that the watch is unrepairable after payment is made, then a full refund will be issued and we will bear the cost of postage to return the watch. In the event you require warranty service, no refunds are issued, but free warranty work is provided.

Please note that all removable parts (straps, buckles, etc.) are specially ordered from the manufacturer and are non-refundable once approved by the customer.
 
RETURN SHIPPING
Danson Jewelers offers complimentary insured return shipping only to the lower 48 states for all completed repair jobs and declined repair estimates only for watch brands that we service. You may be held responsible for the cost of postage to return watches that we do not service. Return shipments outside the lower 48 states must be paid for by the customer. Danson Jewelers does not ship to P.O. boxes. We require signature confirmation for all inbound shipments. The customer bears the burden of purchasing expedited shipping. All items are shipped F.O.B. buyer.

If you are not available to sign for the delivery after three attempts, the package may be returned to us, at which point you are responsible for a payment to cover reshipment from our facility. You may also be responsible to pay for return shipping on replica watches, digital watches, pocket watches, and watch brands that are not on our list of brands serviced. Danson Jewelers is not responsible for:

-Items delivered to incorrect addresses supplied by the customer.

-Unsuccessful deliveries arising from the recipient not being present at time of delivery at the address supplied by the customer.

-Unforeseen delays in delivery due to the fault of the courier or Mother Nature.

-Lost, stolen, or damaged items due to the fault of the courier.
 
SALES TAX
Danson Jewelers does not collect sales tax on shipments to states where we do not have a business presence. You should check with your local and state taxing authorities to determine your responsibility for claiming your purchase for proper use tax reporting.
 
SHIPPING AND INSURANCE
The customer is responsible for ensuring that all inbound shipments arrive to our facility safely. The customer agrees to be solely responsible for any damage incurred to any item while in transit to our facility. Please review our instructions for protecting your watch during transit. Danson Jewelers recommends shipping via USPS Priority Mail, UPS, or FedEx. Regardless of the courier selected, you must insure your watch for its fair market replacement value, and send it with delivery confirmation and signature confirmation. Danson Jewelers is not responsible for watches that are lost, stolen, or damaged while in transit to our facility. Danson Jewelers assumes liability from the time your watch is delivered to our facility until it has departed our facility.

Danson Jewelers will provide complimentary insured return shipping for completed repair jobs and watches with declined repair estimates if shipping is to the lower 48 states. The primary shipping courier employed by Danson Jewelers is UPS. An adult must be available to sign upon delivery for all UPS shipments.
 
SHIPPING INSURANCE
Danson Jewelers will insure completed repair work for only the fair market replacement value of your watch only. Danson Jewelers will not consider any sentimental value of any item. Coverage is limited to the dollar amount you indicated on the inbound shipment forms, and is further limited to the actual value of the watch as assessed by our technicians. Should you decline our repair estimate, your watch is covered during its return shipment for its replacement value minus the estimated cost of repair.
 
WARRANTY AND INSURANCE CLAIMS
Please review our Danson Jewelers 2 Year Warranty policy which governs all services performed by Danson Jewelers. If you are dissatisfied with the quality of the service performed, you must contact us within seven days of receiving your repaired timepiece.
If you are going to value your watch at a specific amount, it is your responsibility to defend this amount with a formal appraisal by an independent and disinterested third-party that is qualified to make such an appraisal, and/or with a valid receipt for the watch when purchased new. The “new” value of the watch must consider depreciation when determining the fair market replacement value.
 
UNREPAIRABLE WATCHES
If, in the judgment of Danson Jewelers, your watch cannot feasibly be repaired due to lack of access to necessary parts or labor, we will return the watch to you at our expense.
 
UNWANTED WATCHES
In the event that you do not wish to proceed with a repair, and do not wish for us to ship it back to you, we will store the unrepaired watch for a period of 90 days in the event that you later decide to have the watch repaired or returned. After 90 days, your watch will be considered abandoned.
 
PRIVACY

You may use our site for lawful purposes only. You may not attempt to use or distribute tools designed to take any action that would compromise the security of this site. You do not have permission to copy the design elements, look and feel, or layout of the site. These elements are also protected by copyright law, and may not be copied or imitated in any manner. You do not have permission to copy or distribute the graphics contained in this site whether it be in conjunction with, or separately from, their accompanying text. No right, title, or interest is conferred by the use or display of this site, or any of its elements, or the content that it contains.

The compilation of all content contained in this site, including, but not limited to, text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, data compilations, and software, is the exclusive property of Danson Jewelers and its content suppliers. VISITOR KEYED INFORMATION
For visitors to communicate with us and for us to act on visitor requests that are made as a part of these communications, certain personally identifiable information that is entered by our visitors may be used to further the purposes of these transactions. We do not share customers’ first and last names, email addresses, telephone numbers, mailing addresses, or details regarding the condition of watches to third parties.
 
REGISTRATION
Certain sections of our website will require you to register before an estimate can be provided. If registration is required, then you agree to provide accurate registration information. It is your responsibility to maintain the accuracy of the registration information in the event that changes are made. Each registration is for a single person or organization only, unless specifically designated otherwise on the registration page. Danson Jewelers does not permit other parties access to accounts that contain registration information of another party. You are solely responsible for preventing such unauthorized use. If you believe that there has been unauthorized use, it is your responsibility to contact us immediately.
 
YOUR ACCOUNT
If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. You must be 18 years or older to create an account with Danson Jewelers. Danson Jewelers reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in its sole discretion.
 
NOTICE OF LIMITED LIABILITY
Danson Jewelers, as well as its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents and other partners and employees, accept no responsibility for any discrepancy to the condition or identification of watches. Danson Jewelers is not liable for damages related to products sold or the operation of our site. You agree that this limitation of liability is comprehensive and applies to all damages of any kind. Items are submitted to Danson Jewelers for repair only. We assume no responsibility for loss, damage, or theft unless said loss is due to our gross negligence. It is to be understood and agreed to that Danson Jewelers will not assume or accept liability, and will be held harmless for loss and damage by any inherent cause therein. Any loss, damage or theft resulting from our gross negligence will be LIMITED to the cost of repair or replacement of item(s), but WILL NOT EXCEED $3000 or the amount of your insurance deductible, whichever is less. Should no value be listed, the store liability will be LIMITED to $50.00.

All articles that are antique, irreplaceable, fragile, of a brittle nature, or susceptible to damage from light, heat, moisture, or cause by an inherent condition are accepted on condition that the customer accepts all risks with respect to any services requested to be performed.
 
INDEMNITY
By using our site, you agree to indemnify and hold Danson Jewelers, its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents and other partners and employees, harmless from any loss, liability, claim or demand arising out of your use of our site.
 
AFFILIATES
We may provide links to the websites of affiliated companies and certain other businesses on our site. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating, and we do not warrant the offerings of any of these businesses, or the content of their websites. Danson Jewelers does not assume any responsibility or liability for the actions, products, or content of any other third parties. The Danson Jewelers mobile message service (the "Service") is operated by Danson Jewelers (“Danson Jewelers”, “we”, or “us”). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (“Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.

By consenting to Danson Jewelers’s SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of Danson Jewelers through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Service-related messages may include updates, alerts, and information (e.g., order updates, account alerts, etc.). Promotional messages may include promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., cart reminders).

You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with Danson Jewelers. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.

We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.

You may opt-out of the Service at any time. Text the single keyword command STOP to +18774201196 or click the unsubscribe link (where available) in any text message to cancel. You'll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you.
