About Danson Jewelers
The Nazy family started out in the heart of the jewelry industry on 47th street in Manhattan’s Diamond District. Here they were jewelry wholesalers to many stores in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. After many years of successful business at that location, they decided to move back to their home state of New Jersey.
Their first location was located at the Jewelry Exchange in Paramus, where they carried out their tradition of great service for one year. However, the family had their hearts set on conducting business within a private store where they could better serve their customers. After a chance meeting with the wonderful Danson family, they acquired the Hasbrouck Heights store located at 201 Williams Avenue. It is there under the Danson name, where the Nazy family continues their quality of excellence, service, and tradition.
Husband to Abby and father to Jack, Jessica, and Emanuel, Dale Nazy is the current owner of Danson Jewelers. In 1980, he graduated Fairleigh Dickinson University in business management. Dale then completed the Gemological Institute of America Diamond Essentials course shortly thereafter. His fondness of jewelry motivated him to seek work in the industry, where he gained valuable, firsthand experience. According to Dale and son Jack, the competition within the Diamond District was an intensive course in itself within the jewelry business.
In 2004, Jack officially started working in the Jewelry Industry. Besides working for his father, Jack has also worked for a few major jewelry stores that helped him gain the necessary experience needed to provide outstanding customer service and expertise. In March 2007, he earned a diploma, and the title Diamond Grader in the Graduate Diamonds Program from the Gemological Institute of America. Jack also graduated with honors from Ramapo College in December of 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History. In 2013, Jack completed his Gemological studies at the Gemological Institute of America and earned the title Gemologist.
